This was my first time traveling to Europe with some of my closest friends and I wanted to document this trip in the most expressive way that I could. I didn’t want to bring a lot of equipment because I felt that it would deter me from being present and enjoying my time there. Directly inspired by Steven Soderbergh, I decided to shoot everything on one camera: my iPhone 6s. I replaced the battery with a brand new one so that I can have a longer battery life to shoot for longer times. I also purchased a Anamorphic lens from MOMENT, specifically designed for phones, to get that cinematic feel. All it took was one phone, one lens, a mobile phone stabilizer (Zhiyun Smooth 4) , and the confidence to try something different in order to tell a story that was personal and special to me and to everyone else that was apart of this Euro-trip experience.
I also took pictures on my vintage 35mm film camera. Enjoy :)
